On April 30, 2025, an archival photo exhibition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s Victory Day and Reunification was held at the Tashkent House of Photography. The exhibition was titled “The Friendly Relations Between Uzbekistan and Vietnam Are Eternal.”
It is known that on April 30, 1975, the People’s Army of Vietnam liberated the country's largest city, Saigon. This event marked the unification of Vietnam as a single state and has since been celebrated as one of the country's most important national holidays.
The exhibition was organized on the initiative of the “Uzbekistan–Vietnam Friendship Society” with the support of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Work with Foreign Compatriots, as well as in cooperation with the “Uzarchive” Agency, the Academy of Arts, and the Tashkent House of Photography.
Members of the “Uzbekistan–Oman Friendship Society” also actively participated in the exhibition.
